Hello Lovelies. How is everybody? Today, I want to share with you my thoughts about one of my new discoveries. The Triple Oxygen Trio from Bliss. This kit has three amazing formulas that really makes your skin glowy and looking refresh and youthful.
The Triple Oxygen + C Energizing Cream is a very light gel cream that instantly revives the skin and it does not feel heavy and absorbs easily into the skin. During the cold months this cream is your best ally to fight dryness. Also, apply a little amount of this wonder under the eye area and you will notice how it brightens the dark circles and depuff the under eye area like magic wand. I love that this cream has this effect without irritating my very sensitive eye are.
The Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask is a frothy face mask that you leave on your face for five minutes, rinse it, and voilá, your skin feels like the skin of a one year old baby girl instantly. I will recommend to use this mask after you have gently exfoliated your skin and before bed time.
The Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask is without a doubt your best resource to fake a good night sleep if you have a special event the next morning. After 15 minutes your eyes will thank you. My only complaint with this is actually the 15 minutes wait to see results ( I was gifted with many virtues, but patience is definitely not one of them), but it worth the wait. I promise.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMI!!

I want to dedicate this post to my beautiful mother whose birthday was yesterday and we had an amazing time together. I also want to say to her THANK YOU MAMI, because she was the one who started this incredible adventure for me. Mom, you never hesitate and here we are now. I love you. Happy Birthday!!!!

 

We had lunch at Osteria II Paiolo an Italian restaurant in Williamsburg. I highly recommend it.

My mom is also very stylish. She loves skirts and boots, and she has always said that Fall is her favorite season of the year and her trade mark are headbands (she has worn headbands all her life). In this photo she is wearing an Anthropologie skirt that she found of the sale rack last weekend. Immediately she said: "It fit me and I am buying it" (she didn't try it on).

She also loves nail polishes and wear them in all colors. That is something that I don't dare to do myself. I am more conservative than she is, but I am really loving that Thinking of Blue color from the Complete Salon Manicure collection from the Sally Hansen. Maybe I will get my own.




My mom is funny, is crazy and is the most loving mother that I could have asked for, but definitely, she is not a good photographer. Well, she tries!

Hair Tutorial

Since I have let my hair grow and I have invested in a few hair styling tools, I feel very inspired on taking my time to do my hair and I actually have recreated a few of Ms. Jones looks.

El dia de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un video hecho por Beth Jones. Ya he hecho de su conocimiento que soy una fiel seguidora de su Blog y de sus videos en donde da ideas de como arreglar nuestro cabello. Ya que me he dejado crecer el cabello y que he invertido en algunos aparatos para estilizarlo, me siento muy inspirada en tomar mi tiempo para arreglarlo y ya he recreado algunos de los peinados de Ms. Jones.

Hello Lovelies:

Im just want to share with you my opinions on these two products.

Let's start with the Smooth Operator Amanzonian Clay Illuminating Serum. This product works as a highlighter for the face. The first time I put it on I noticed that my face had a subtle glitter ( I had to admit that I was wondering where that glitter was coming from) I like the smooth texture that it gives to the skin and it has a little tint that combines really good with my skin tone. Now, I have to say that I found it to be a little greasy. Not heavy on the skin, this is actually a really light formula, but a little bit oily. My forehead was really shinny the first couple of days that I used it. But, with the change in the weather and with the low humidity, I won't workout a big sweat in months so, I started to see a big improvement in the use of this product.

So my suggestion is: This product gives a gorgeous glow, but if your skin is oily, limit its use for the cold months.

Final verdict for this product: 3 1/2 points

Following it is the Evercolor Poreless Face Defender. I talked about this product on my previous post. OMG, this is the best product that I have ever tried. It leaves the skin looking flawless. The only problem I have is the little sponge applicator that came with it. It is a very little flat sponge that I will have to replace in a few days with a better one. I got this product in a promotional kit, but I believe that if you get it on its own, the sponge applicator is bigger and thicker and it will definitively makes the application easier. If you decide to give this a try, keep in mind that this is not a powder. This is actually a solid product that you pat on in your face. It feels like wax to the touch, but smoother. Do I make sense?

Anyway, I am very happy with it.

Final Verdict: 4 1/2 points.

I have always loved the designs from ZARA. They are pretty affordable and the fabrics they use are of great quality and the fitting is good. And now that they finally launched their online store, it  definitely makes my quest for a new coat easier.
Next week, I am going on my first business trip to Washington, D.C and I am very excited and a little anxious. I want to give a good impression, so me buying a new coat is more a necessity than an obsession. So, I am thinking about it as an investment.

Pretty Face All Day Long!!!

 

Hello Lovelies:
I want to say that I am so sorry for my absence. Many things have happened since my last post, but I am back and I want to talk about my new discovery.

As I said, I have been going through some good and bad things lately and it started to take a tool on me. I noticed that my skin was looking really dull and my current makeup routine was not helping.
Through one of my favorite beauty bloggers, Emily Eddington; I have heard about the Mally Beauty products and about the marvelous work that they do on the skin.
Emily has given the Mally Beauty makeup products outstanding reviews that I was very intrigue to try them out. But of course, I needed a big incentive to try on these makeup products. Until, Emily passed the information that QVC was having a special value for these products containing seven pieces of high performance Mally Defend your Beauty Collection and I have to say that I am no at all disappointed. These products are AMAZING.
I was so anxiously waiting to get my order that when I did it was like Christmas has come early. My favorites are the Poreless Face Defender and the Face Defender Blush in Pink Perfection. The Face Defender is like none other makeup product out there. It gives the skin a healthy radiant glow and you just have to dad it on the skin after you had applied your foundation. And the blush adds a youthful pink color to the cheeks. Also, the mascara is lovely and helps to create long, full and sexy eyelashes.  I just love the whole set. My mom was so in love with these products that she is also ordering her value set.

Now, I want to clarify something. This blog does not have the intention to make any of my readers to go and spend lots of money in makeup to make you feel pretty or valuable. The beauty of each individual comes from the inside within us. Beauty comes from who we are inside and from what we have to offer and the good actions that we do for others and for ourselves. Let's do not forget this and let's be present in the present moment because nothing is for granted. I just got one of those moments........

Okay, with that being said, I also want to add that I just want to share with you, my lovelies; my opinions on a variety of things, not just about makeup or clothing. Who knows what my thoughts will be tomorrow. Would I be posting about outfits for the season or would I be asking you for your advice on how to say the right thing to a stranger who thinks that Barnes and Noble is a library and not a BOOK STORE and that she is not supposed to go there to read an entire book and expect that everybody around her is going to be quiet? Lady please..... Anyway...

Hola mis Queridas:Quiero decirles que siento mucho el haber estado ausente. Muchas cosas han pasado desde mi último post, pero estoy de regreso y quiero hablarles de mi nuevo descubrimiento.

Como mencioné antes, he pasado por algunas situaciones últimamente (buenas y otras no tan buenas) y note que mi piel lo estaba comenzando a resentir. Se miraba opacada y cansada y mi rutina de maquillaje no estaba ayudando a que se viera mejor.
A travez de una de mis bloggers de belleza favoritos, Emily Eddington; escuché hablar de los productos de belleza Mally y de lo bien que trabajan en la piel.
Emily les ha dado a estos productos de maquillaje buenisimos comentarios y no pude evitar el sentirme intrigada a probarlos. Pero por supuesto, necesitaba de un gran incentivo para dar paso a estos productos en mi coleccion de maquillaje y cuando supe que QVC tenía una oferta especial que contiene siete piezas de maquillaje de alto rendimiento de la coleccion Defiende Tu Belleza de Mally no dude en comprarlos y tengo que decir que no estoy en absoluto decepcionada ya que estos productos son increíbles. 
Estaba tan ansiosa a la espera de recibir mi pedido que cuando por fin lo recibi, fue como si la Navidad hubiera llegado temprano. Estos productos le han dado a mi rostro una apariencia radiante y juvenil y ayudan a que el maquillaje dure impecable por mas tiempo. La verdad es que son una maravilla y estoy fascinada con los resultados. Uno de mis productos favoritos es el rubor para las mejillas que es de un color rosa muy delicado.

Ahora, quiero aclarar algo. Este blog no tiene la intención de hacer a ninguna(o) de mis lectoras(os) el ir a gastar un montón de dinero en maquillaje para que se sientan lindas(os) o valiososas(os). La belleza de cada individuo viene de su interior. La belleza se trata de lo que somos por dentro y de lo que tenemos para ofrecerle a los demas y de las buenas acciones que hacemos por los demás y por nosotros mismos. No hay que olvidarnos de esto y vamos a estar presentes en el momento presente, porque nada en la vida es una garantía.

Ahora bien, también quiero añadir que yo sólo quiero compartir con ustedes, mis queridas lectoras; mis opiniones sobre una variedad de cosas, no sólo sobre maquillaje o ropa. Quién sabe cual sera mi pensamiento mañana. ¿Estare escribiendo acerca de conjuntos de ropa para la temporada o estare pidiendoles su consejo sobre como decirle lo correcto a un extraña que cree que Barnes & Noble es una librería y no una tienda de libros y que no se supone que debe ir alli con la intencion de leer un libro completo y esperar a que todas las personas a su alrededor esten en silencio? Señora por favor.....

Hello Lovelies! It has been some time since my last post. I have been a little busy lately and a lot of things have happened and not all of them are good things, anyway. "When Life Hands You Lemons Crack Open The Gin" literally.
In a more happy note, I want to dedicate this post to my friend Sarah. She is moving to Arizona for work where she will be wearing a more business casual attire and she suggested me to make a post about wearing jeans at the office and I thought that that was a great idea.
So, I wanted to put together a few affordable and chic outfits and this is the result.  Everything is under $100.00 except for the J Brand 29'' Skinny jeans which bright red color is so irresistible that I couldn't help but to include it in this list.
This is my personal style, but while I was putting this together I kept my friend Sarah on my mind all the time. So, I think I can say that I was inspired by her. I hope she likes it and I hope that everyone likes it, too.

Hola Queridas! Ha pasado algún tiempo desde mi último post. Ultimamente he estado un poco ocupada y muchas cosas han pasado últimamente y no todas ellas han sido buenas, de todos modos. "Cuando La Vida Te Da Limones Abre La Botella De Gin"
En una nota más feliz, quiero dedicar este post a mi amiga Sarah. Ella se va para Arizona por trabajo y el código de vestir será mas relajado e informal y ella me sugirió hacer un post acerca de como usar jeans en la oficina y pensé que era una gran idea.
Entonces, quise armar algunos atuendos que fueran económicos y elegantes y este es el resultado. Cada pieza cuesta menos de $100.00 a excepción de los J Brand 29" Skinny jeans cuyo brillante color rojo es tan irresistible que no pude dejar de incluirlo en esta lista.
Este es mi estilo personal, pero mientras estuve armando estos conjuntos tuve a mi amiga Sarah en mente todo el tiempo. Así que creo que puedo decir que ella fue mi inspiración. Espero que le gusten y espero que a todos ustedes les gusten también.
